Live for Speed S2 Alpha Y The story behind the Formula BMW : There is a new UK based company called V1 Championship whose aim is to discover a new racing driver through a series of tests resulting in a place in a team for the winning driver. V1 will be launched in 2008 and shown on TV in the UK. Live for Speed will be used as part of the selection process, before testing in real cars. V1 asked us to create a Formula BMW to make this test as realistic as possible. BMW Motorsport gave us permission to build the car in LFS, so we went ahead and built it.
The V1 car is owned by Fortec Motorsport where V1 is based. Thanks to V1 and Fortec, our programmer Scawen Roberts was able to get a test day driving the Formula BMW and that helped a lot with the realism of the LFS version of the car.

Information about Patch Y :
Patch Y has gone through extensive testing, first in private by our testers and then in public by our  community. The Formula BMW is a great car to drive and South City looks a lot nicer. The AI are a lot more useful, with their ability to drive faster, make pit stops and deal with the changing state of their car. They aren’t perfect yet, more work needs to be done to improve their awareness of other cars and overtaking ability. But they do stay on track and can give you a good race now! All the changes in Patch Y are listed at the end of this page.

Beach Head 2002 delivers arcade style shooting in its most basic and repetitive form.Beach Head 2002 is an updated version of Beach Head 2000, a repetitive arcade-style shooter that lets you assume the role of a lone gunner trying to fend off a beach invasion. The new game takes the same approach, but replaces the beach environment with some rolling hills. The few improvements it includes do little to address the flaws of the original game, and since the new game is just more of the same endless waves of enemies, it can’t really be recommended even to those who might have enjoyed Beach Head 2000 in some way.
The game consists of stage after stage of stationary shooting action.
Beach Head 2002 gets old quickly, primarily due to its premise you’re stuck in a bunker with a few guns and limited ammunition, and there’s an army of infinite size on the way to kill you. It might make a good plot for an action film, but it’s not much fun as a game. In this situation, there is no hope of retreat, since you can only rotate about a fixed position and shoot at moving targets. There is also no hope of victory, since the game will just continually throw more enemies at you in the form of tanks, armored personnel carriers, helicopters, airplanes, and soldiers. There is very little rhyme or reason to how these targets appear and move–the units have no obvious objective other than to destroy your bunker, and they come from all directions, giving the impression that the invasion has already taken place long ago, and you’re the only survivor. Since you can’t move and you can’t win, your only goal is to do better than you did the game before and maybe gain access to a new weapon or enemy unit to shoot at.
At times, the game is visually pleasing. The weapon and explosion effects are fairly realistic, and the enemy units and environments look fine. The game’s animation is repetitive but otherwise acceptable. Unfortunately, some parts of the game’s graphics don’t add up your suspension of disbelief will falter when a jet flies into a nearby hill and out the other side. And like its predecessor, Beach Head 2002 has the habit of making units pop up out of nowhere, but whether this is a graphics problem or a cheap way to keep you on your toes is unclear.
The weapon, vehicle, and explosion graphics are supplemented with decent sound effects, although like the rest of the game, they quickly get repetitive. Shells hitting your bunker cause an appropriate explosive rumble, and small-arms fire ricochets off armor with a metallic patter. t Helicopters will buzz the bunker with a distinctive chopper sound, and fighters will fly past your base with their jet engine whine. Soldiers will catch on fire from nearby explosions and cry out in horror, but there’s very little variation in their screams.
The game would have benefited tremendously from more variation in weapons, enemies, and environments. The few differences that you come across in the game are a welcome relief from tedium all of a sudden, it might be nighttime and you only have a flashlight and a few flares to see your targets. Or perhaps instead of the usual combined forces raid on your bunker, the enemy has decided to send a squad of fighter jets to attack you, and you have to replenish your ammunition by shooting at air-dropped crates.

Humankind, united by single goal, managed to build heavy weaponed and armored truck. It was the truck that was the sole hope of the entire planet earth habitants.
Destroy bases of the aggressive aliens for the sake of humankind.
The first level is a tutorial level where you learn to maneuver your vehicle (using the keyboard cursor keys) to move around a maze like structure. The controls are a little twitchy; making it quite hard to control the turning of your vehicles, but it does get easier with a little practice. This is important as in later levels you have to maneuver around lots of objects. You’ll also be given the opportunity to try out the various weapons that you carry on your vehicle. The top mounted weapon is controlled by the movement of the mouse; the mouse pointer becomes the firing reticule and the fire button is the left mouse button; grenades can be thrown by using the right mouse button and the super weapon by using the space bar.  All key bindings can be changed to keys more comfortable to the individual by going into the options menu via the main menu. Your main weapon can be changed from the default mini gun to a laser and pulse cannon using the mouse scroll wheel. It appears that all the weapons are upgrade able apart from the grenades, but I was n’t able to confirm this as I only played as far as level 4 (the Jupiter level). You’ll find each level has a boss stage at the end of the level.
The basic set up of the game play is to destroy a building that holds the force field generators, then go collect the energy sphere that was initially protected by the force field. As soon as you collect the sphere you are attacked by hordes of aliens. As you progress the levels get steadily harder.
You’ll find several bonuses in game. You need to pick these up quickly as they disappear within around 20 to 30 seconds. These include the following:

Test Drive Ferrari Racing Legends is a racing video game developed by Slightly Mad Studios and published by Atari. Test Drive Ferrari Racing Legends is a driving experience for fans of the Ferrari brand. It is the eleventh game in the series, and was released on 3 July 2012 in North America. The game is a departure from the open world sandbox gaming style seen on past Unlimited games from theseries, and returns to arcade racing, just as left in Test Drive 6, and also resembling Le Mans 24 Hours, a Test Drive spin off. Development for the game begun shortly after the release of Shift 2 Unleashed and uses the same engine to showcase “convincent physics models” and a “one of a kind experience for all driving enthusiasts.” The main gameplay in the video game is driving simulation, although the developer claims it to be a balance between simulation and arcade racing. Ferrari Racing Legends does not feature car customization, as Ferrari didn’t allowed the developer to include the feature. It is the first Test Drive game to be developed by Slightly Mad Studios.
Ferrari Racing Legends focuses on Ferrari’s history across almost all of the racing disciplines, including Formula One, rally racing, and GT. There are over 50 different Ferrari vehicles to drive, and each shows off full realistic interior and exterior models, as well as damage effects. The game is set to be released in celebration of the 65th anniversary of the first Ferrari ever built, the Ferrari 125 S of 1947.
Few automotive manufacturers have a legacy that’s as bold and exciting as that of Ferrari. Test Drive: Ferrari Racing Legends has the advantage of being able to draw on that rich and thrilling history. It includes 51 cars from Ferrari’s past and present, from the 1947 125 S to the 2011 150° Italia. These are incredible machines; the 1967 330 P4, the ’84 Testarossa, the 2005 FXX the sleek lines and sharp contours of these cars can quicken the pulse of most any red blooded automotive enthusiast. Unfortunately, despite having such an exciting stable of vehicles to celebrate, Ferrari Racing Legends flounders, with a poorly designed campaign that’s structured in such a way that even the privilege of driving some of the most coveted cars ever produced becomes a chore.
